About the job

For our kitchen crew we're currently looking for a Sous chef. The sous chef is a crucial part of our team. You'll be the second in command in the place where all the magic happens.. our kitchen. You'll play a large role in ensuring that guests are consistently wowed with stunning and delicious dishes. You'll coach our kitchen crew to juggle with avocados. Besides your cooking skills and tricks you have the right combination of ambition and leadership.

A little taste of your tasks;
You'll create the most beautiful and tasteful dishes.
You ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area (HACCP).
You fill in for the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary.
You monitor food stock, check freshness, discard out-of-date items and place orders. No rotten avocados on your watch.
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and not afraid to put out a fire.🔥

About you

You are full of energy and have a positive attitude that is contagious.
You have proven work experience in the kitchen.
You have great time management skills and have the ability to remain calm while undertaking various tasks simultaneously.
You are able to communicate clearly in English (additional languages are a plus).
You are flexible in working hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Specialist cook's diploma or culinary schooling is an advantage, preferably SVH-cook (Social Hygiene Cook) training or similar.
