We are The Avocado Show! We are all about good vibes and our signature “Pretty Healthy Food”; that's stunning and delicious dishes made with love from sustainable avocados. Since we opened our doors in 2017, we have amassed more than 200,000 fans on social media and have locations in Amsterdam, Stuttgart and London, amongst others with more to come. Our purpose is simple: to bring joy to avocado lovers.

In the coming years we want to achieve our strategy of opening dozens of restaurants, growing quickly to bring joy to avocado lovers all around the world. To this end, we are looking for an ambitious Franchise Business Developer who can help us further professionalise the foundation in the field of recruitment, selection and onboarding of franchise entrepreneurs. With you in our team we can complete the future (international) roll-out and development of our brand. 

About the job

As a Franchise Business Developer you are responsible for attracting and selecting our new franchise partners. In recent years we have laid a solid foundation. This foundation needs to be built on in order to professionalise, strengthen and further expand the company (e.g. in the field of processes, the use of data and securing our unique identity). That's where most of your time goes. A selection of your activities;

  • Recruiting and selecting new franchise partners. From the set up of lead generation through to onboarding
  • Searching for and assessing new restaurant locations through data
  • Together with the CEO, the Head of Operations and our marketing team, you are the driving force behind realising our (growth) strategy
  • Everything else that is involved in a fast-growing start/ scale up. Which of course can be many things!
  • You are a trusted advisor and part of the Leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO

About you

  • Experience at a franchise chain in a similar commercial role

  • You know what it takes to work at a food/ restaurant chain

  • You have strong communication skills with which you can enthuse future Franchise Partners about our concept and our added value
  • You feel comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment in which you are both strategic and hands-on responsible
  • You are analytical, accessible, transparent, confident and take responsibility
  • Fluent in English, Dutch is a plus
